Auburn holds steady at No. 7 in AP Poll; Week 3 opponent LSU at No. 12

After dominating Alabama State in the highest scoring game of Gus Malzahn's tenure as Auburn head coach, the Tigers remain ranked No. 7 in the nation in the AP Top 25 poll, released Sunday afternoon.

Auburn defeated Alabama State 63-9 on Saturday night. The Tigers had touchdowns on offense, defense and special teams. When factoring in Anders Carlson and Ian Shannon's extra points, 10 different Tigers scored.

Auburn’s next opponent, LSU, dropped one spot from No. 11 to No. 12 after its 31-0 victory over Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday.

Auburn begins its SEC schedule by hosting LSU this Saturday at 2:30 pm CST, broadcast on CBS.
