Bri Folds received First Team All-SEC honors, while Treva Aycock and Alyssa Malonson played their way onto the Second Team All-SEC, the league office announced Sunday.

Folds was named to the first team after leading the way offensively for the Tigers with a career-high nine goals and 25 points.

The junior midfielder came up big in the clutch this season, scoring a league leading six game-winning goals. Offensively, she was in a league of her own, being the lone player to rank in the top five in the conference in assists (7), goals (9), points (25) and game-winning goals (6).

“Bri is a really special player. She’s had two good years for us and now she’s gone to a whole new level,” said head coach Karen Hoppa. “She’s leading our offense, not only in the goal scoring but with how we play. The ball has to go through her. She is creative. She creates attacks.”

Folds’ first-team selection marks the fourth consecutive year the Tigers have had such an honor.

Another key piece to the potent Tiger offense was Aycock who made an immediate impact during her first year on The Plains. Aycock ranks second on the team in goals (7) and points (20) while coming in third in assists (6).

Aycock was dominant against SEC competition, scoring five or her goals and 12 of her points in conference play.

Malonson was a jack-of-all-trades this season while playing an important role in the Tigers' nine shutouts, but also leading the team and conference in assists.

The trio of Folds, Aycock and Malonson marks the fifth-straight year that three or more Tigers are listed as all-conference honorees.
