Despite being unranked in the AP and Coaches polls released Sunday afternoon, the College Football Playoff committee ranked Auburn as the 24th best team in the country
Coming off of a win against Texas A&M that included an impressive fourth-quarter comeback led by Jarrett Stidham, the Tigers now stand at third place in the SEC West behind Alabama (No. 1) and LSU (No. 7) in the rankings.
Auburn is now ranked for the first time since losing to Tennessee four weeks ago and will play the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs in Athens this weekend as nearly 14.5-point underdogs.
