Auburn to host top-ranked QB, receiver, linebacker prospects at Texas A&M game

There’ll be more on the line than a victory when Texas A&M visits Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday.

The nation’s No. 1 pro-style quarterback in the 2020 class, D.J. Uiagalelei, will visit The Plains alongside 20 other recruits to view Auburn’s home return. Uiagalelei travels from Bellflower, California, as the nation’s fifth-best player ranked by 247Sports.

As a junior at St. John Bosco High School, Uiagalelei has completed 72 percent of his passes through 10 games for 2,390 yards and 34 touchdowns.

Auburn will host 11 players from the 2019 class, including commits Bo Nix, Owen Pappoe and Jaren Handy. The Tigers will also host five-star linebacker Nakobe Dean, four-star linebacker Derrick Hall and three-star offensive tackle Nick Pendley, all who have yet to commit.

As one of Auburn’s top defensive targets, Dean is currently ranked as the nation’s top-ranked inside linebacker, according to 247Sports.

Uiagalelei is joined by eight others from the 2020 class, including four-star commits Kobe Hudson and Demuoy Kennedy.
