Now that the Student Government Association executive team has been solidified, applications are open for the assistant vice president and cabinet positions.
Applications for AVP positions are due Friday, March 8 at 5 p.m., and applications for cabinet positions are due by Monday, March 18 at 5 p.m. Applications are to be submitted under the forms tab on AUinvolve.
The positions director of elections and executive director of schools council are also now open for application.
The newly elected SGA executive officers made it a goal to better represent the student body in the different SGA positions. They took an unprecedented measure in having an open-application process to name the rest of their executive team, as opposed to the closed-selection process of past, to meet this goal.
Informational sessions about the different positions will be held on Tuesday, March 5 at 7 p.m. in Room 3546 of the Mell Classroom Building and on Thursday, March 7 at 12:30 p.m. in Room 2216 of the Student Center.
Interviews for the AVP applicants will be held on March 18-19, and interviews for director and assistant director positions will be held March 25–28. Signups for interview times are included in the application.
