Auburn basketball to play in Brooklyn's Legends Classic next season

Auburn Basketball is Brooklyn-bound.

Next year, the Tigers will play in the Legends Classic in the Barclays Center along with Wisconsin, New Mexico and Richmond.

The tournament will be held over Thanksgiving break, November 25-26, and will give the team a shot at acquiring quality wins to boost its tournament bid resume, providing Bruce Pearl another opportunity to attempt to legitimize his program on a national level.

This this season, former Auburn guard Mustapha Heron and St. John's won the event.
