Deylon Marque Pearson, 24, of Auburn, was arrested on multiple drug charges on Monday.
Officers in the Auburn Police Division narcotics unit conducted a traffic stop on North College Street. Police said Pearson, the driver, had an outstanding warrant for first degree possession of marijuana.
Upon his arrest, approximately 30 vapor-pen cartridges containing THC and over $1,000 were recovered from the vehicle.
In addition to the outstanding warrant, Pearson was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was transported to Lee County Jail on a $5,500 bond.
The Auburn University Office of the Registrar told The Plainsman a junior with the same name and age was registered at the University, but the student isn't registered for classes in the summer or fall.
