"From a standpoint of our student-athletes, getting the chance to visit one of the greatest cities in the world, especially before Thanksgiving and the holiday season, was something I didn't want to pass up.
"You've got all corners of the country covered in this year's Legends Classic. You've got Wisconsin in the north, New Mexico in the west, Richmond in the east and Auburn in the south. We're looking forward to the competition."
The Tigers will face off against New Mexico in the semifinal round on November 25 at 8:30 p.m. CST on ESPNews, with the winning school moving on to face the winner of Wisconsin and Richmond.
The championship game will take place on the 26th at 6:30 p.m. CST on ESPN2 along with the consolation game between the two schools that lost in the first round at 4 p.m. CST on ESPN2 or ESPNU.
New Mexico finished last season with an overall record of 14-18 and a 7-9 record in the Mountain West. Auburn is coming off their most successful season to date with the first Final-Four appearance in school history and an SEC Tournament Championship.
