Auburn fullback Spencer Nigh will be signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to several NFL reports.
The fullback recorded just three stats his senior season: a two-yard rush in the Outback Bowl, a nine-yard reception against Oregon in the season opener and a 24-yard reception in the Outback Bowl.
Originally from Magnolia, Texas, Nigh sat behind now Miami Dolphin Chandler Cox before earning the starting spot his senior year.
This marks the second straight season an Auburn fullback is heading to the NFL. The Dolphins selected Cox in the seventh round of the 2019 draft.
The Steelers currently only have Trey Edmunds, a 2017 UDFA, listed at fullback on the depth chart. Nigh will compete with Edmunds for a roster spot and the starting position.
