The SEC holds four new records after the first round of the 2020 NFL draft.

The first record came early after quarterbacks Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa were both selected in the top five, the first time two quarterbacks from the same conference went in the top five.

The SEC also saw Andrew Thomas (Georgia), Derrick Brown (Auburn), CJ Henderson (Florida) and Jedrick Wills (Alabama) go inside the top 10. This marked the first time any conference had seen six players taken within the top 10.

The trend continued with four more SEC players picked inside the top 20, making it 10 of the first 20 picks.

Finally the SEC ended the night with 15 total selections, shattering the record of 12 from the ACC in 2013 and SEC in 2017.

Auburn saw star defensive tackle Brown go early while cornerback Noah Igbinoghene rose up draft boards late and went at No. 30 to the Dolphins.

Marlon Davidson and Prince Tega Wanogho highlight the remaining Auburn players going into Day 2 of the draft.
