APD arrests two suspects in 18-year-old disappearance

The Auburn Police Division arrested 41-year-old Taharra Jaquay Brunson and 35-year-old Marcus Okeef Wigley on felony warrants, charging them with one count of kidnapping in the first degree. APD was assisted by members of the Lee County Sheriff's Office and U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force.

The two suspects are charged with the kidnapping of 18-year-old Thomas A. Green, who disappeared early Saturday morning, Sept. 5, 2020. Further investigation determined the suspects were involved in taking Green against his will.

The suspects were transported to the Lee County Jail. Their bond was set at $50,000.
