Head coach Johnnie Harris and Auburn women’s basketball have stayed active this offseason as the Tigers have added another player to their 2021-22 roster.

Paris Mullins, a transfer from Butler Community College in Mcdonough, Georgia, committed to Auburn on Tuesday and signed on Wednesday. Mullins is the second transfer the Tigers have signed this offseason as former Mississippi State guard Xaria Wiggins signed in April.

Mullins is a 6-foot-2 forward and spent her first collegiate season at Walters State Community College before playing at Butler Community College last season.

The rising junior averaged 10 points and 5.7 rebounds on 20.2 minutes per game during her lone season at Butler. Mullins started in 21-of-23 games and earned All-Conference honors as she helped lead her team to the NJCAA National Tournament in 2021. She also scored in double figures 12 times during the 2021 season.

“I’m so excited to have Paris as part of our Auburn women’s basketball family,” Harris said. “Paris has a skill set that fits very well with our system. She is a highly motivated young lady, both on and off the court, and she will be a very important piece to the process of building our program.”
