Two weeks after a loss in Happy Valley, Auburn will enter another one.

The Southeastern Conference announced Monday that Auburn will kickoff against LSU at 8 p.m. CST on Oct. 2 and it will be televised on ESPN.

Auburn’s loss to Penn State came with much debate of the loudness of the white-out crowd. Many contested that it wasn’t comparable to a night game in LSU’s Death Valley. Now the visiting Tigers will have a chance to settle the debate.

Auburn has not been able to win in Death Valley since 1999.

Before Auburn takes on the Bayou Bengals, it will end its non-conference season with the homecoming game slated for Georgia State on Sept. 25.
