Auburn soccer can’t seem to stop winning.

After the team recently earned the rank of No. 10 in the most recent United Soccer Coaches poll and No. 16 in the Top Drawer Soccer poll, two more Tigers earned individual weekly honors on Wednesday.

Sophomore Hannah Waesch and junior Sydney Richards both were recognized by Top Drawer Soccer following the Tigers' games against UAB and Chattanooga.

Waesch was named to the Team of the Week and Richards was an honorable mention.

Three weeks into the season, this is the third time Auburn players have been honored by Top Drawer Soccer.

Waesch played all but 12 minutes of the Tigers’ games against UAB and Chattanooga, leading the Tigers’ to the program’s longest winning streak in history.

Dating back to last spring, the Tigers have won 10 straight and are currently undefeated this year at 5-0.

Waesch played a pivotal role in holding Chattanooga scoreless in the team’s first shutout on Sunday, intercepting passes and linking up for offensive scores.

This contest is the 13th straight where Auburn has surrendered one or fewer goals.

Richards, a forward, scored the team’s game tying and game winning goals against UAB on Thursday, notching her first time on the scoresheet this season.

Auburn now has had four multi-goal performances from three different players, including Richards, the most since 2016.

In the first minute of the second half, the Tigers fell down to the Blazers but 16 seconds later Richards answered with the game tying score. Later, Richards rifled one into the upper 90 to put the Tigers ahead for good.

Waesch, Richards and the rest of the Tiger crew start a five-match homestand this week. First, the Tigers host Alabama A&M on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. CT, then host the nation’s top team Florida State University on Sunday.
