Fall break marks a few things. It is the beginning of fall festivities, the calm after midterms and for some students, the chance to go home for a long weekend.

However, according to the 2021 College Factual Diversity Report, under 40% of Auburn’s student population is from out-of-state. For some of these students, a trip home may be unfeasible.

That being said, non-homebound students are in luck this year; Auburn’s offering a host of activities throughout the long weekend. Here’s the ultimate guide to spending Fall Break in Auburn.

Tipoff at Toomer’s:

Thursday, Oct. 7 at 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Tipoff at Toomer’s is back! The City, University and Auburn Athletics are partnering up once again to bring Auburn Basketball to Toomer’s Corner. Tipoff at Toomer’s will feature Auburn men’s basketball head coach Bruce Pearl, women’s head coach Johnnie Harris, as well as a pre-season look at both teams. The free event, which was first held in 2019, was canceled for the 2020 season due to COVID restrictions and is back for the first time since its onset.
