Auburn wide receiver Kobe Hudson announced on Monday in a since-deleted Instagram story that he was "kicked off the team."

It went along with what appears to be a goodbye post to Auburn on Instagram.
“To my Auburn family my first two years of college have been nothing short of amazing,” Hudson said on the Instagram post.” “It was a dream of mine since adolescence to play in front of Jordan Hare. My whole motive when I came to Auburn was to be the best I could be on and off the field.”
Hudson was rated as the No. 111 player in the recruiting class of 2020 and the No. 19 wide receiver according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.
Hudson did not have much of an impact during his freshman season, as he only recorded seven catches for 70 yards during the 2020 season.
Hudson broke out his sophomore year as he became Auburn’s No. 1 receiver, leading the team in receptions and receiving yards throughout the 2021 season. He finished the season with 44 receptions and 580 yards, while also finding the end zone four times.
Hudson scored Auburn’s only two touchdowns in the final games of the season against Alabama and Houston.
He played two seasons at Auburn will have three seasons of eligibility left.
