Looking for the best way to spend Valentine’s Day? Look no further! The perfect way to spend Valentine’s Day: with your gals! No date? No worries. Here at The Plainsman, all Valentine’s Day activities for singles are covered.

First up, The Collegiate Hotel with their BEE Mine Valentine’s Night Honey and Libations. The Collegiate Hotel is a luxury, boutique hotel in the heart of Auburn that is hosting a honey and beverage tasting experience. These unique kinds of honey will be from the Auburn Bee Lab and the drink menu for the night is honey-inspired. 

“Make it a sweet Valentine's with The Collegiate Hotel and the Auburn University Bee Lab for the Honey and Cocktail Tasting Event,” said Kim Wirth, owner of the Collegiate Hotel.

So grab the girl squad and head on over to 205 South Gay Street for this unique Valentine’s event. Before the night is over, be sure to grab some Instagrammable photos at their rooftop bar overlooking downtown Auburn. 

Tickets are $35 per person and are available on Eventbrite.com. This is a drop-in event in which one can partake in the activities at their own pace. The event will be in operation from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Grazing boards will also be available for those who wish to complete the night with a snack. 

If keepsakes and memories are the plan this year, head on over to The Botanic on Valentine’s Day eve. Hosted by entrepreneur Stacy Brown, Barbara Birdsong Designs, and Mary Ann Casey Art, this event features custom jewelry making. Friends and family can bring home matching bracelets or add a cute and unique piece to their jewelry collection. There will also be snacks and drinks to enjoy throughout the activity.

If a break from school work and test week is in order, the Spa at Grand National is optimal. Enjoy a massage and pedicure to relax and recover from the stresses of everyday life.

Rtjspatrail.com describes the spa as, “A relaxed luxury retreat inspired by a tree house in an enchanted forest is the best way to describe the spa environment.”

Its' theme is inspired by the natural elements of the earth.

Next up, The Grazer Co. is hosting a charcuterie workshop the day after Valentine's Day. There will be a catered lunch, a decorating cookie bar, Valentine’s trivia, and goodie bags. The charcuterie board workshop will follow the lunch and costs $20.

Last but not least, the Auburn Plaza Bar & Lounge in Midtown is hosting a Ladies’ Night this Valentine’s Day.

“We’re going to have all the best girly Valentine's drinks on special; Wine Spritzers, Babe Breeze, Sex on the Beach. And we will be serving up yummy tacos, pigs in a blanket, and nachos on special all night,” said Chloé Covin, social media manager for the Auburn Plaza Bar & Lounge. 

Be sure to stop by Midtown to enjoy food, drinks, and a few surprises throughout the evening.
