Valentines Day is only a few days away and that means it’s time to get to a gift for a special someone. Finding a Valentines gift can be a hard thing to do so here are a few simple gifts for the season to be the perfect Valentine.

Flowers:

Flowers are a timeless, yet romantic gift.

Leigh Nicks, owner of Auburn Flower and Gift says,“the most popular flower for Valentines Day is the rose.

The rose is a staple for Valentines Day and adds a romantic feel to any bouquet. If roses aren’t for you try a simple, elegant flower for a nice pretty bouquet.

“Hydrangeas and Calla Lily’s… things that are just nice and elegant flowers,” said Nicks

Jewelry:

Jewelry is a popular gift given for this holiday, but it can often be hard to find the perfect piece.

Tina Ware, owner of Ware Jewelers says, “right now everyone is into yellow-gold, a lot of people like hearts…another popular item is David Yurman.”

A yellow-gold necklace or a David Yurman bracelet or ring may just be the gift to give.

Rommie Ware, owner of Ware Jewelers says, “diamonds always.”

Diamonds are a classic. A diamond necklace or earrings might be what to get.

Candles:

Stuck on a budget friendly gift? A candle will be perfect. Candles are another gift option that won’t break the bank. If you don’t know what scent to get, go and make one together as a fun date-night.

Sydney Burnett, key holder at Auburn Candle Company says, “come in and make a candle together…have some wine.”

The Auburn Candle Company’s make your own candles are the most popular around this time of year, but some pre-made scents also take the lead.

“Rose Petals and Fruit loops always sells well,” said Burnett.

For those with a sweet tooth, candy is the way to go. Chocolate, Sweetarts, or even homemade sweets are the most popular, but according to candystore.com, “conversation hearts dominate over heart-shaped boxes of chocolate.” If you need a little push on which candy to grab, you can always get them all!

Stuck on a Valentine’s Day gift? Flowers, candy, jewelry and even candles might just be the way to go.
