Auburn volleyball ranked for first time in program history

Auburn volleyball continued to make history under coach Brent Crouch, as the program earned its first-ever Top 25 ranking.

After a pair of wins over SMU and Florida State in Tallahassee, Florida, Auburn was ranked No. 25 in the AVCA Coaches Poll released Monday. The Tigers currently own a 5-0 record on the season.

Auburn received 146 points in the poll — 50 more than Rice, the first team out of the rankings. The Tigers joined No. 3 Florida, No. 17 Arkansas, No. 18 Tennessee and No. 19 Kentucky as SEC teams that made this week's rankings.

Auburn's first games as a ranked team will come in this weekend's Tiger Invitational. The Tigers will host Middle Tennessee, Charleston Southern and Mercer in the event.
