Auburn City Council holds biweekly meeting

On Tuesday, Nov. 7, the Auburn City Council held its biweekly meeting.

Some of the topics discussed in the meeting included alcoholic beverage licenses, proposed easements throughout the city and multiple ordinances.

The businesses looking to obtain alcoholic beverage licenses included two Circle K locations, Sushiya and Hector's Cantina and Grill.

Both Circle K locations, one located at 2385 Moores Mill road and the other at 2393 E. University Drive, were obtaining an off-premises-only retail beer license and an off-premises-only retail table wine license.

Sushiya, a Japanese restaurant located at 2319 Bent Creek Road, Suite 300, was obtaining a Restaurant Retail Liquor ABC License.

Hector's Cantina and Grill, located at 1936 S. College Street, also obtained a Restaurant Retail Liquor ABC License.

 Four easements were discussed. One was a Sanitary Sewer Easement at a private residence and the others were related to businesses.

Conner Brothers Development Co., Inc. accepted a temporary construction easement at N. Dean Road and E. University Drive Intersection Improvements Project.

McDonald's Real Estate Company accepted a drainage and utility easement at its 224 W. Magnolia Ave location.

Rausch and Pausch, L.P. and Innotive Tech, Inc. accepted a public sanitary sewer easement on property located at 2450 Paul Parks Lane and 2458 W. Tech Lane.

The Auburn City Council will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. CST. All Auburn City Council meetings are held in the City Council Chamber at 141 N. Ross Street.
