Auburn football has added a major addition to its 2024 recruiting class as 5-star receiver Cam Coleman has flipped his commitment from Texas A&M to the Tigers.

Coleman, out of Central High School in Phenix City, Alabama, is rated as the third-best wide receiver in the 2024 class and the No. 7 overall player by the 247Sports Composite rankings.

The 6-foot-3-inch, 180-pound receiver is the state of Alabama's top player for the 2024 recruiting class. Coleman joins 5-star Perry Thompson and 4-star Bryce Cain as the wide receivers committed to Freeze's program for the next recruiting class, with 4-star athlete Malcolm Simmons also expected to play receiver.

Coleman and Thompson are the two highest-rated players in Auburn's class. Coleman has become the highest-rated recruit on offense in Auburn history, surpassing 2010 class member Michael Dyer. Auburn previously had just one 5-star receiver commit in its history — the Tigers have two in the class of 2024.

Auburn's class now ranks No. 11 nationally and fourth in the SEC, sixth if including future SEC members Texas and Oklahoma, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
