The No. 25 Auburn Tigers, with a 7-2-1 record, are poised to face off against a diverse array of opponents in their upcoming seven-game home stand.

Head coach Mickey Dean is well aware of the caliber of competition awaiting his team, emphasizing the consistently high level of play these visiting teams bring to the field.

Auburn's upcoming opponents include the Georgia State Panthers in a midweek game and the USC Upstate Spartans, Northwestern Wildcats and North Texas Mean Green in the Jane B. Moore Memorial.

When it comes to facing off against the Georgia State Panthers, Auburn has a history of dominance, boasting an impressive 12-game winning streak against them. As they prepare to meet once again, the Tigers aim to extend this streak and continue their reign over the Panthers, who are coming off a recent victory against Army, showcasing their own competitive spirit.

The USC Upstate Spartans, with a season record of 7-7, present an intriguing challenge for the Tigers. Led by junior outfielder Denver Lauer, who recently earned Big South Co-Player of the Week honors, USC Upstate promises to test Auburn's resilience on both offense and defense.

Additionally, freshman second baseman Abby Polk has been making waves, earning Big South Freshman of the Week honors for her impressive contributions to the team's success.

Looking ahead to the Jane B. Moore Memorial, Auburn anticipates tough matchups against the Northwestern Wildcats. With a season record of 7-4, the Wildcats bring formidable competition to the field, particularly with standout pitcher Ashley Miller, who was named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week after an outstanding showing at the Mary Nutter Classic. Alongside Miller, Serena Starks adds offensive firepower, having been named Ivy League Player of the Year.

The North Texas Mean Green, with a season record of 8-7, round out the tournament lineup. Led by head coach Rodney DeLong, the Mean Green are coming off a recent victory against the UT Arlington Mavericks, showcasing their resilience and determination on the field. Standout players like Saleen Donohoe, Tatum Sparks and Madison Conley have been instrumental in the team's success, contributing both offensively and defensively.

The Tigers will begin their weekend with the late addition game against the Georgia State Panthers on Thursday, Feb. 29 at 6 p.m. CTS before officially starting the Jane B. Moore Memorial Tournament.

Due to weather concerns, only Auburn’s evening matchup with the Northwestern Wildcats on Friday, March 1 will remain on the schedule with first pitch anticipated for 5 p.m. CST with coverage on the SEC Network+.

The weekend will feature two double-headers for the Tigers. Saturday, March 2 will include a rematch with Northwestern beginning at 3 p.m. CT and a clash with USC Upstate following the conclusion of the first game — an anticipated start time of 6 p.m. CT.

Sunday’s two games will begin at noon with Auburn and North Texas before the Tigers rematch with USC Upstate following the conclusion of the first game — an anticipated start time of 3 p.m. CST.

All games apart of the Jane B. Moore Memorial Tournament will be televised on the SEC Network+.
