The SEC Tournament champion Auburn men’s basketball program made the NCAA Tournament for the 13th time in program history, it was officially announced Sunday.

Auburn was awarded a 4 seed in the tournament, being matched up with 13-seed Yale in the first round. Auburn’s first-round, and potential second-round, game will take place at Veterans Memorial Arena in Spokane, Washington. The first-round game will be played on Friday, March 22.

The Tigers were placed in the East Region, led by the region’s top seed, Connecticut – the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament. The winner of the game between the Tigers and Bulldogs will face the winner of the game between 5-seed San Diego State and 12-seed UAB in the second round.
