The No. 24 Auburn Tigers look to continue their SEC win streak as Georgia and Texas A&M come to Neville Arena this weekend.

The newly ranked Tigers have had a hot start to their season and have continued to out-perform their opponents this year, hosting an impressive 12-1 record. Last week, Auburn was able to upset No. 12 Kentucky in four sets and defeat Alabama in five to solidify themselves as one of the top teams in the country. Head Coach Brent Couch continues to expect the best out of his team, and with players like Madison Scheer and Bella Bell, it doesn’t seem to be that crazy of an expectation.

Scheer and Bell led the Tigers in both matches last weekend, with a combined 52 kills between both players. Scheer and Bell continue to put stats up that compare to the best outside hitters in the country.

Defensively, Auburn has allowed the lowest hitting percentage in the SEC at .155% against them in the conference this year, a whole 0.1% lower than Arkansas who sits behind in second place.

Georgia has not had the start to its season that they hoped for with a 6-5 record and winless in conference play so far this year. Outside hitters Sophie Fischer and Bianna Muoneke lead the Bulldogs in kills this season and have comparable stats to Auburn stars Scheer and Bell. Expect Georgia setter Clara Brower, with 447 assists on the year, to set up Fischer and Muoneke a lot Friday night as the Bulldogs look for the upset road win.

Sunday afternoon, the Tigers face off against a strong Texas A&M team that holds a 10-2 record coming into the matchup. The Aggies have one of the best hitters in the country in Logan Lednicky, who is responsible for 1048.0 points through only 12 games, and they expect her to continue her domination this weekend. With 482 assists on the year, transfer setter Maddie Waak will be doing all she can do to put Lednicky and her team in position for success.

No. 24 Auburn volleyball will start its weekend slate hosting Georgia on Friday, October. 4 at 6:30p.m. CST. The Tigers will turn around and matchup with the Texas A&M Aggies inside of Neville Arena on Sunday, October. 6 at 2p.m. CST. Both matches will air on the SEC Network+.
