Auburn men's basketball moved up to the No. 4 ranking in the latest AP college basketball poll. This move follows Auburn's 79-56 victory over Kent State on Wednesday, Nov. 13, and a loss by previously No. 2 Alabama.

This is the Tiger’s highest ranking since week nine of the 2023-24 season, where they reached third in the country.

Auburn has started the season 3-0 with a 51-point win over Vermont, a five point win over No. 7 Houston, and a 23-point win over Kent State.

So far on the season, Auburn has five players averaging in double figures, Johni Broom (16.0), Chaney Johnson (14.0), Denver Jones (10.7), Tahaad Pettiford (10.0) and Chad Baker-Mazara (10.0).

The Tigers also boast the top spot in the Kenpom rankings, holding the number two offensive efficiency ranking and number five defensive efficiency, joining Houston as the only two teams to be ranked top five in both metrics.

The Tigers also hold the highest net rating in the country according to Kenpom at 30.26, adding to their impressive start to the season.

Auburn will play the North Alabama Lions tonight  at 8 p.m. CST as the team prepares for the Maui Invitational and a huge matchup against No. 5 Iowa State Cyclones.
