The Little Rock Trojans will make the trip to Neville Arena to face Auburn women's basketball on Thursday night.

The Tigers enter the matchup following a dominating performance last week against Virginia University of Lynchburg, winning the game by 92 points.

In their game against Virginia University of Lynchburg, the Tigers shared the wealth across their lineup, with seven different players scoring in double figures. DeYona Gaston, the transfer forward and 2024 Big 12 Sixth Player of the Year, led the scoring for Auburn, with a 36-point, 11 rebound double-double. Gaston has been a force to be reckoned with this season, with a combined 50 points and 19 rebounds through the Tigers’ first two games of the season.

Expect a lot of coach Johnnie Harris’ offense to be run through Gaston Thursday evening.

The Little Rock Trojans walk into Neville Arena with a 1-1 record on the season after suffering a loss in an overtime thriller against in-state rival Arkansas last week. Faith Lee, the 5-foot-11 forward, is the Trojans' most reliable scorer on the season, averaging 20.5 points per game on 46.3% shooting from the field.  With the help of center Emerald Parker and her rebounding in the paint, the Trojans hope to create a 1-2 punch with Parker and Lee. If Little Rock can manage to keep this game close, expect the two players to be large contributors to their success.

On defense, the Tigers have dominated in their first two games, with no opponent scoring more than 11 points in a single quarter this season. In its matchup against Virginia University of Lynchburg, Auburn forced a whopping 41 turnovers in its 128-36 victory. Expect the duo of guards, Audia Young and Kaitlyn Duhon, to lead the Tigers frontcourt defensively with their quick hands.

The Tigers take on the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. CST on Thursday, Nov. 14  with television coverage on SEC Network+.
