With Auburn looking to win its second conference game of the year and avoid a fourth straight losing season, here's what some of our staff has to say about the matchup between Auburn and No. 15 Texas A&M on Saturday, complete with score predictions and analysis.

Patrick Bingham, Sports Editor: Texas A&M 31-13

"Auburn has beaten a ranked team since October 2021. The Tigers haven’t beaten a power-four team with a winning record with Hugh Freeze as head coach.

The atmosphere will be fun Saturday night but nothing has really changed about this team that would result in Auburn beating a top 15 team."

Logan Fowler, Sports Reporter:   Texas A&M 28-17

"Texas A&M comes into Jordan-Hare Stadium as one of the more challenging opponents the Tigers have seen this year, featuring a scary defensive front and a dynamic quarterback in Marcel Reed. Auburn has the talent to matchup well with the Aggies, and with it being a a night game under the lights in the JHS, anything can happen. However, I think A&M is the better overall team and they have showed that on the field this year."

Tyler Raley, Sports Writer: Auburn 24-20

"Texas A&M enters Jordan-Hare Stadium for yet another night game between the two, with the stakes being the same for Auburn as they were two years ago: a win is necessary in order to make a bowl game. The Tigers haves the ultimate chance to play spoiler to the Aggies' hopes of making the College Football Playoff this year, and many believe that they can do it.

With a solid performance last week against ULM combined with it being a Senior Night game under the lights, Auburn has all the momentum it needs, but will need to stop the potent rushing attack that Texas A&M provides, especially with quarterback Marcel Reed under center. I believe this is a game where the crowd will be a huge factor, allowing the Tigers to play their best game of the season and keeping their bowl hopes alive."

Craig Noyes, Sports Writer: Auburn 26-23

"The Texas A&M Aggies under first-year head coach Mike Elko have one thing in mind and that is beating Texas next week. This is the ultimate look-ahead spot for a rival that you haven't seen in over a decade and an Auburn team that is desperate for a win.

While the records may not show it this will be one of the better defenses that the Aggies will have faced this season and an A&M team that is top three in the conference in rushing offense will clash with an Auburn team top three in rushing defense. The Tigers need something to carry into the offseason and I believe it will be this game."

Maddie Marsh, Sports Writer: Auburn 24-21

"Coming off of a strong win against ULM and a home field advantage, Auburn may have a chance against Texas A&M on Saturday. With the recent dominance from the defense, the Aggies offense is looking at a challenge.

Much like the Tigers, A&M has been known to drop some fairly easy games (cough, South Carolina). If Auburn is able to capitalize on big plays and the atmosphere of Jordan-Hare, they may be able to pull off an upset."
