Auburn is No. 2 in the AP Poll this week — marking the 34th time in program history, and 14th under head coach Bruce Pearl, the Tigers are in the top five.
It’s the fifth time in program history Auburn has been ranked second in the AP Poll and the first time since since Feb. 14, 2021.
The Tigers jumped up to No. 2 in the poll from No. 4 after winning the Maui Invitational on Wednesday, Nov. 27, defeating Iowa State, UNC and Memphis in the Tournament.

Ranked just ahead of Auburn at No. 1 is Kansas, while the Tigers are trailed by No. 3 Tennessee and No. 4 Kentucky. All four teams have kicked off their seasons with a 7-0 record.
Next, the Tigers head to Durham, N.C., to take on the No. 9 Duke Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium, marking their third showdown with a top-10 opponent. Tipoff is set for 8:15 p.m. CST, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.
