Auburn signs five-star defensive lineman Malik Autry out of Opelika, AL

Five-star defensive lineman, per 247 Sports, Malik Autry, from just down the road in Opelika, AL, signed with Auburn on Wednesday morning – marking the 11th high school commit to sign with the program. 



Autry, coming from Opelika high school, recorded 8.0 tackles-for-loss and 18 solo tackles during his senior season as a Bulldog. 

The 6-foot-5, 320 pound lineman is rated 98 overall by 247 Sports making him the third highest rated player in the state of Alabama and fifth highest rated defensive lineman in the class of 2025. 

Primarily recruited by Vontrell King-Williams, Autry chose Auburn over Ohio State, Florida, USC and others. 



Hugh Freeze’s third class at Auburn currently sits at fifth in the country, per 247 Sports, and as more signees are expected throughout the day.
