Four-star linebacker Jakaleb Faulk, a star linebacker who comes from Highland Home, AL and played at Highland Home, officially signs with Auburn on national signing day.

Faulk stands at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds and is a top ten recruit in the state of Alabama and the seventh ranked linebacker in the country by 247 Sports. He is in the middle of the road as far as four-star rankings go as sitting at a 94 rating by 247 Sports and a 0.9378 composite ranking.

Jakaleb’s last name Faulk might sound familiar to many Auburn fans due to his brother Keldric Faulk is a sophmore defensive lineman for the Tigers. Keldric Faulk was second on the team in sacks this past season with seven in twelve games and has been a force for the Tiger’s front from the first time he stepped on the field as a freshman in 2023.

Jakaleb Faulk played an array of spots in high school for the Highland Home Flying Squadron’s defense. He mixed in snaps at defensive end, outside linebacker and middle linebacker among other things. In his junior season Faulk amassed 58 total tackles including 13 tackles for loss with three sacks. The commit took a step forward in senior season this past year getting 91 total tackles with an impressive 19 tackles for loss and five sacks.

The linebacker is also a winner as he helped his team to a combined 34 wins to just five losses in his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. The Flying Squadron went 11-2 in 2022 featuring both Faulk brothers in route to a final four appearance. Highland Home would go on to go 10-2 the following year which was then followed by another final four four appearance in 2024 in Jakaleb’s senior year in which his team went 13-1.

With his official signing, Faulk will enroll in the spring at Auburn joining his brother in the Tiger’s defensive scheme.
