Endgame, a dating app that launched on Dec. 1, was founded by three female Auburn University alumni, Baxlee Bynum, Candace Thompson and Maegan Renee.

The dating app is centered around choosing from a selection of 50 images rather than text-based questionnaires. This allows for a more engaging audience and gives users the opportunity to create a deeper connection with one another.

After much effort and anticipation, the app is now available on both Apple and Google Play stores.

“It’s incredibly difficult to get a dating app accepted into the app store. The fact that all of us went to Auburn and have accomplished this is something really special,” Thompson said.

Creating Endgame allowed the three founders to reconnect with their love for Auburn and give back to the community.

“Auburn blessed me with the community and support to become the woman, scientist and professional I am today. This is my home and we developed Endgame to create real value for my Auburn Family and beyond. I can’t believe I now get to work with these amazing women to help the world find greater love,” Renee said.

To gain more traction, the founders have proposed a friendly competition between the sororities and fraternities at Auburn University.

“We really want to get everybody at Auburn involved, and we know a big part of Auburn social life is the sororities and fraternities. Whether you’re in one or not, you know someone. It’s such a social school and we think it would be really fun to get all the students involved with a chance to win,” Bynum said.

A $1,000 American Express card will be gifted to the sorority or fraternity who recruits the most users. In order to receive points, new users must list their occupation as the sorority or fraternity they represent.

The user does not have to be a part of Greek life but can instead be asked by an individual who is involved.

The competition will last two weeks, starting today. The winner will be announced via Endgame's Instagram. The president of the sorority or fraternity who wins must reach out to claim the prize.
