No. 1 Auburn picked up its eighth straight win to start league play at No. 23 Ole Miss Saturday afternoon. Below is a culmination of statistics to know following the top-ranked Tigers’ most recent win.
Series History:
Today’s game was the second matchup in the last three meetings Auburn and Ole Miss have faced off as ranked opponents after previously never both being ranked in the same game. The Tigers have won both ranked matchups with the Rebels.
Saturday’s win in Oxford, MS marks the seventh straight victory for Auburn over Ole Miss which ties the program record. The Tigers achieved the mark of seven straight over the Rebels in 1964-65, 1967-68, 1989-90, 1992-93 and now 2024-25.
The victory over the Rebels marks the Tigers’ fourth straight in Oxford, MS dating back to the 2021-22 season — marking the longest streak in program history since at least the 1950-51 season.
Program History:
The Tigers have now claimed their fourth consecutive 20-win season — meeting the mark in seven of the last eight seasons. This season is now the 16th 20-or-more win season in program history for Auburn.
Auburn matches the school record for best start to a season by reaching 20 wins in 21 games which ties the 1927-28, 1998-99 and 2021-22 seasons.

The Tigers’ picked up their nation-leading 13th quad-one win against Ole Miss which is five more than Oregon with eight.
Auburn now ranks seventh all-time in quad-one wins in a season with 13 – joining 2020-21 Baylor and 2022-23 Alabama.
With currently seven of the Tigers’ 10 games remaining against quad-one opponents, Auburn can still catch UConn who holds the record for quad-one wins in a season with 18 last season.

Johni Broome:
Broome recorded his 73rd career double-double, which ranks second amongst active D-I players, with 20 points and 12 rebounds against the Rebels.
The 6-foot-10 center has recorded 13 double-doubles this season which ranks fourth nationally.
Since returning from the two game ankle injury, Broome has recorded a double-double in each of the last three games.
Today’s contest was Broome’s 12th with 20-or-more points this season.
Game specific:
Auburn shot 14-for-28 from deep which marks the most made 3-pointers on the road in SEC play for the Tigers this season. The previous high was 10 made from deep at Georgia with Auburn knocking down eight at each of the other three road games.
The Tigers’ 14 made 3-pointers are the most for the squad in SEC play and the highest since knocking down 16 against Vermont in the season opener.
92 points scored by Auburn is the most Ole Miss has given up on its home floor this season.
Ole Miss had 35 attempts from the charity stripe which marks the most by an Auburn opponent all season.

Bruce Pearl remains undefeated in games against Chris Beard, 0-4. Prior to today’s win, Pearl led Auburn to a 67-65 victory over Texas Tech at the Cancun Challenge on Nov. 22, 2016 as well as two wins over the Rebels last season in Beard’s first with Ole Miss.
