Former Auburn guard Denver Jones has received an invitation to play with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Summer League.
The New Market, Alabama, native will reunite with fellow 2025 Final Four teammate Chaney Johnson on the Cavs’ Summer League roster. The two helped Auburn reach the Final Four for the second time in program history and will now look to make an impression at the professional level.
In his final season on the Plains, Jones averaged 10.9 points per game and shot 41.1% from behind the arc.
His impact was felt on both ends of the floor, earning him recognition as a semifinalist for the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Award.

No. 2 Denver Jones makes a layup against the Florida Gators inside of the Alamodome at the Final Four on April 5, 2025.
The duo will look to shine with the Cavaliers in hopes of earning a spot on the roster or drawing further attention from other NBA teams.
The Cavaliers will get things started on July 10 at 4:00 p.m. CST on NBA TV against the Indiana Pacers.
Jones and Johnson will join Johni Broome (Sixers), Dylan Cardwell (Kings) and Miles Kelly (Mavericks) in the NBA Summer League.
