Filip Jović plans to enter the transfer portal after one season on the Plains, according to On3.
The freshman averaged 6.3 points and four rebounds per game in his first season playing in the United States.
The Serbian native’s move to the portal is “being driven by his agent, who believes Filip Jović is worth around $2 million,” per Justin Hokanson of On3 on the site’s message board. He added that the figure does not align with how Auburn views his market value.
The 6-foot-9 forward stepped up for Auburn in the National Invitation Tournament in the absence of big man KeShawn Murphy. Earning the start in all five postseason games, Jović averaged 11.4 points and five rebounds per game.
