E-Closet, a newly developed clothing rental app, officially launched in Auburn on Feb. 6 with a soiree at The Avondale Bar & Tap Room. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., guests sipped on drinks from the bar, mingled with the creatives behind E-Closet and learned more about the app.

Five candidates will compete to become Miss Auburn 2025, with the winner serving as the official hostess for Auburn University. From 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., candidates will represent their campaigns Wednesday through Friday and meet with students on the Haley Concourse. Voting will occur on Friday, Feb. 7 from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. and the winner will be announced the same day at 10 p.m. on the Cater Hall steps.

Auburn University's Office of Sustainability, Thrift Club and Apparel Merchandising and Design Association partnered to host an outdoor film event at Pebble Hill on Nov. 14. The event ran from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and included a showing of “Fashion Reimagined,” a documentary that told the story of a young designer's efforts to develop a sustainable and ethical fashion line.

Auburn University has reported a record number of students admitted and enrolled in the university for three consecutive years. For the 2024-25 school year, Auburn reported 34,145 students currently enrolled as compared to the 2023-24 school year, where 33,015 students were enrolled.
