In January, citizens led one of the largest civilian protests in Iran’s history, calling for changes in the current regime's control of the state. The people of Iran protested primarily for a change to the current Islamic dictatorship, as well as economic justice by storming the streets of Tehran, ultimately forcing a reaction from their government due to the sheer size of the protest. One month later, UN experts suspect a current civilian death toll to exceed 20,000 casualties, with the Iranian government suspected as responsible for these killings.

An Auburn University alumnus is one of six killed in a crash involving two U.S. military KC-135 refueling aircrafts in Iraq on March 12. Air Force Maj. John “Alex” Klinner, graduated from the University in 2016 with a degree in mechanical engineering.

The No. 15 Auburn gymnastics team came up short Friday against No. 7 Missouri with a total of 196.7 on Senior Night at Neville Arena. The Tigers delivered a close match-up with many strong individual performances. Alex Irvine delivered the meet’s top routine, and Julianne Huff claimed the all-around title. Missouri’s consistency across all four events secured the road victory with a close 197.325.
