AUBIE Lab maps the brain through MRI and EEG studies

​The Auburn University Brain Imaging and Ethanol (AUBIE) Lab is located a few miles from the main campus, in the research park off South Donahue Drive. The centerpiece of the lab is the MRI machine. The AUBIE lab’s machine is a powerful 7 Tesla MRI, one of a only a handful in the country. With the power to create a magnetic field more than five times stronger than a typical 3 Tesla machine, this cutting-edge technology allows the researchers to get clearer images of the brain than ever before.

UPC hosts first live Auburn Bachelor

On Oct. 15, the University Program Council (UPC) hosted its first ever live Auburn Bachelor. The event brought 14 male students together on stage to compete for the chance to be named Auburn University’s most eligible bachelor. By the end of the night, contestant J.D. Merithew emerged victorious as the first Auburn Bachelor.
