Auburn softball players Haley Fagan, Makayla Martin and Brittany Maresette were arrested early Thursday morning, according to arrest reports from the Auburn Police Department. The Tiger trio was arrested for possession of marijuana 2nd degree and drug paraphernalia around 12:45 a.m. on East Samford Ave.
The Plainsman has reached out to the Auburn Police Department and Auburn Athletics for more information surrounding the arrests. Auburn Athletics does not have a statement at this time.
The Auburn Athletics Department confirms that all three of the players have been suspended from the team indefinitely for violating team rules, according to WRBL.com.
