A man was shot and killed at BJ's Lodge in Opelika early Saturday morning, according to the Opelika Police Department.
At around 1 a.m., Opelika police responded to a call at the lounge on Staley Avenue to find a man inside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Opelika Fire Department paramedics treated the man and transported him to East Alabama Medical Center where he was pronounced dead by doctors.
Police said they are withholding the victim's name while they notify his family.
Detectives are investigating the murder and have asked that anyone with information relating to the case call OPD at 334-705-5220 or its secret witness hotline at 334-745-8665.
