COLUMN: Winter makes style easy

Fall makes it easy to look good for class, so there is no excuse for looking like you rolled out of bed.

Sweaters, flannels, boots and scarves are just a few items that are easy love to sport.

While most of them campus transfers from shorts and T-shirts, to leggings and T-shirts, it is not too hard to take this a few steps further.

Adding a fall item to a T-shirt and leggings makes an outfit look better. Taking it a step further and slipping on those jeans will do your outfit wonders.

Most brands have their version of jeggings or comfortable jeans. Brands from Gap, Target and Free People all have great options.

It is easy to become sloppy in appearance. While, yes, it is comfortable and an easy lifestyle, it is not setting us up for our future.

Professional attire is required in most professions. Not saying anyone would, but if someone showed up to work in pajamas the boss would be less than impressed. Dressing professionally now won't hurt.

Being on a college campus, we are surrounded by potential employers as well as people with great connections.

Professors appreciate when students dress up for their classes, it is also respectful to them.

Since it is so easy to accomplish in the fall, why not dress better.

It is as simple as picking out a pair of jeans, a sweater and some boots.

Now people have their own style and can change what pieces they use depending on the day or weather as well but the options are limitless.

A flannel and t-shirt can also be stylish and comfortable.

For guys, most end up wearing pants to class with some form of t-shirt.

While sweatpants are warm and fuzzy, it is easy to wear nice pants to class. Nice pants with a casual sweater, flannel or even polo can look great.

Since it is about to be old outside, jeans can be great at keeping students warm.
