Auburn gets one more week to look ahead to Starkville.
The Tigers and Bulldogs are set for a primetime kickoff next weekend against Mississippi State, announced Monday morning. But first, Gus Malzahn and company have to deal with a tricky Southern Miss squad on homecoming.
Golden Eagles quarterback Jack Abraham is already over 1,000 yards on the season with 10 touchdowns, good for No. 8 nationally in passing offense. Defensively, Southern Miss ranks No. 21 nationally in scoring defense.
Can Abraham bully the Tiger secondary? Or is Auburn primed for another backup-heavy blowout?
