Auburn junior point guard Jared Harper has been placed on the Associated Press's All-SEC second team for the second straight year, announced Tuesday morning.
Auburn's starter at point guard for all three of his seasons on The Plains, Harper is currently the only active SEC player with 1,000 or more career points, 300-plus career assists and 150 or more 3-point makes.
The Mableton, Georgia, product averages 15.2 points per game this season to go along with 5.9 assists per game, which ranks second in the conference behind Tennessee's Jordan Bone, who joins Harper on the second team.
Harper ranks third in the SEC this season in 3-point baskets with 78.
His fifth-seeded Tigers take on the winner of Missouri vs. Georgia on Thursday in Nashville for Round 2 of the SEC Tournament.
