Auburn has continued to add to its 2020 recruiting class by getting a commitment from center Dylan Cardwell, hailing from McEachern High School.

Cardwell announced his decision on Thursday on social media.

Cardwell is a 3-star center listed as the No. 150 player in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports.

After spending three seasons at Oak Hill Academy, Cardwell transferred to McEachern High School for his senior season. Due to Georgia transfer rules, he was forced to sit out his senior season.

Cardwell will be reuniting with his McEachern High School classmate, Sharife Cooper, on the Plains.

The 3-star center already has ties to the Auburn Family as he is the nephew of Auburn football defensive line coach, Rodney Garner.

Cardwell will play behind another former McEachern center in Babatunde “Stretch” Akingbola.

The 3-star center joins Cooper, JT Thor, Chris Moore and Justin Powell in Auburn's 2020 recruiting class. The Tigers now have a top 10 recruiting class for 2020, according to 247Sports.

Auburn now has one scholarship spot remaining going into the 2020 season.
