Owen Pappoe (10, blue) tackles John Rhys Plumlee (10, white) during Ole Miss at Auburn on Nov. 2, 2019, in Auburn, Ala.

On Monday, the SEC announced that Auburn's Week 5 matchup at Ole Miss will take place at 11 a.m. CST on SEC Network.

The Tigers are scheduled to travel to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Oct. 24 to play Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss. This is the first time that Kiffin and Gus Malzhan have faced each other as head coaches.

Auburn has dominated the series against Ole Miss by going 33-10 since the two began playing each other in 1928. Since Malzhan has been the head coach at Auburn, the Tigers are 5-1 against Ole Miss.

In 2019, Auburn defeated Ole Miss 20-14 in a tight battle. This will be an intriguing matchup as Ole Miss has looked strong this season under Kiffin, averaging 42 points per game, despite posting a 1-2 record. Both losses have come against top-five teams in Florida and Alabama.
