The SEC announced on Friday its conference schedule for the upcoming 2021 softball season. Auburn will open up conference play on Friday, March 12, against Alabama at Jane B. Moore Field in Auburn.
"We are excited to play this spring and are thankful for all the hard work and commitment from the SEC, Auburn administration and our medical staff for this opportunity," head softball coach Mickey Dean said. "Our team is looking forward to representing Auburn and our community. We are so excited to once again see and hear our amazing fans."
Each SEC team will play a three-game series against eight different conference opponents, with games taking place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. One series will be played on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with the Monday game being broadcast on the SEC Network.
If postponements occur, May 3-5 has been designated as an opportunity for makeup games as a midweek doubleheader.
Non-conference games will also take place this season, but will be announced at a later date. Auburn’s full conference schedule is listed below:
