Auburn women’s basketball will have to extend its hiatus without a game.

On Wednesday, the SEC announced that positive tests, contract tracing, and quarantining protocols within the Auburn program have postponed the team’s contest against Kentucky.

Originally scheduled for Thursday night, a makeup date for the game has not been determined.

The contest is the third postponement for Auburn this season and comes after Sunday’s game against Missouri was also postponed.

Auburn’s next scheduled game is Sunday afternoon on Jan. 17, a road game against Florida.

Both teams are winless in the SEC so far into the season, with tipoff scheduled for noon CST. It will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
