4-star shooting guard Trey Alexander has decided to re-open his recruitment and decommit from Auburn, according to a post on his Twitter.

Alexander is rated as the No. 1 player in the state of Oklahoma and the No. 15 shooting guard in the nation, according to 247Sports composite rankings.

Alexander had signed his national letter of intent with the Tigers back in November and was part of Auburn’s signing class for 2021 alongside 5-star forward Jabari Smith.

The Oklahoma City hooper was a McDonald’s All American last season.

Before signing with Auburn, Alexander had offers from Alabama, Florida State, Georgia and other schools.
