After two wins to open its season, Auburn soccer is now ranked in the top-25 in two different polls for the first time since 2018.
Following a road win at Samford and upset of No. 12 BYU, Auburn jumped from unranked to No. 14 in the United Soccer Coaches poll and No. 22 by Top Drawer Soccer.
Currently, the Tigers are the highest ranked SEC team, followed by No. 16 South Carolina, No. 17 Tennessee and No. 21 Texas A&M.
Both recent wins were in come-from-behind fashion, seeing game-winners in each game from sophomore Anna Haddock. The Tiger’s win against BYU was not only a big win for the team this season, but it was the first time since 2017 that Auburn defeated a top-15 team.
The nationally ranked Tigers (2-0-0) will next travel to Troy on Thursday, looking to continue their hot start to the season. Game time is set for 6:30 p.m. CST.
