It will be round two for North Florida on Tuesday when it travels to Auburn Arena for the second consecutive season to take on Auburn. The Ospreys are going for revenge, after the Tigers handed them a 94-81 loss last season.

Tuesday will be the third-consecutive road game for North Florida, following its loss at Clemson and win at Charleston. Sitting at 5-2 on the season and facing a 3-3 Auburn team hungry for another win, this one is setting up to be a good one.

Aicha Coulibaly and Annie Hughes are coming off of career games for the Tigers. They both recorded 20-plus points, for the first time in their career, against Charleston Southern on Friday.

It was also the most efficient game from the field for the Tigers, who shot 44.6% from the field, a season-high. Not only this, but every active player on the roster checked into the game and scored. That gave several Auburn starters, who had played extended minutes over the previous two games, time to rest.

The duo of guards will look to build off of their strong performances against an Osprey defense that has allowed an average of 53 points per game. It should be noted that three of North Florida’s seven opponents have been Division II teams.

North Florida has a pair of its own sharp-shooters in fifth-year senior Rhetta Moore and redshirt sophomore Jazz Bond. Moore has a team leading 19.9 points per game, while Bond follows close behind with 19.1 points per game.

A win will give the Tigers their first winning record in 334 days.

Auburn will try to slow the Osprey attack down at 7 p.m. CST on Tuesday from Auburn Arena. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network-plus.
