Following its road win in Tampa against South Florida last Friday, Auburn basketball moved up two spots in the most recent AP Top 25 Poll, released Monday.
The Tigers are now sitting at No. 19 before their trip to the Bahamas for the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament.
Auburn is one of six SEC teams in this week's poll, which is the most by any conference. In the latest poll, Kentucky and Alabama tied for No. 10, Arkansas is No. 13, Tennessee is No. 15 and Florida is No. 23.
Meanwhile, Auburn's next opponent also moved up in the poll. UConn ranked No. 22 in the nation ahead of its match-up with Bruce Pearl and the Tigers on Wednesday.
The other ranked team in the field of competitors for the Battle 4 Atlantis is defending national champion Baylor, ranked No. 6. Auburn could potentially face Baylor on the tournament's final day on Friday.
UConn and Auburn will take the court on Nov. 24 at 1:30 p.m. from the Bahamas. The top-25 matchup will be broadcast on ESPN.
